Go to your kitchen and make yourself a homemade masks. The holiday season can be a very stressful time of year. This year we all had to adjust to a pandemic. But now we are all in that blissful week between Christmas and New Year’s where collectively we are all laying on our couches watching childhood favorites. Take this time to treat yourself to a homemade mask. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to relax.

This Christmas themed mask will really get you into the holiday spirit. Here are the ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tsp Pistachio Oil
  • 2 tsp Flaxseed Oil
  • 3 tbsp Colloidal Oatmeal
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • ½ cup Warm water

Combine these ingredients and leave them on your face for 10-15 minutes then rinse off. The oils in the mask have great benefits. Not only do the oils help promote wound healing but they also have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Oatmeal is very calming for the skin and is also used for skin irritation. Ginger isn’t just for gingerbread, it’s also a great pain reliever.

The Cranberry Nutmeg face mask not only sounds good but it works wonders. Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 cup Cranberries
  • 1 cup seedless grapes
  • 1 tsp Plain Yogurt
  • 4 tbsp Cranberry Juice
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Dash of Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Blend the berries until smooth before adding the other ingredients. This mask has great benefits such as anti-inflammatory, calming, and great antioxidants. Leave this on for 10-15 minutes and rinse off. I hope everyone has a safe and New Year’s.
