A Playlist For Your Mom This Mothers Day By: Lupe Llerenas

Mother’s Day is upon us, and for many of us, our mothers are one of the most important people in our lives.

It’s nearly impossible to express just how significant the influence of a loving mother can be. For years, our mothers provide everything to us. Thanks to them, we are here today. So, it’s only right to celebrate our mothers not on Mother’s Day but every day.

In honor of this special day, I compiled a list of some of my favorite Spanish songs. These songs illustrate the unconditional love of a mother.

You can show how much you love your mamá or someone who’s played that role with these beautiful songs.

Mother’s Day or not, don’t forget to always tell your mother you love her.

“Madrecita Querida” by Vicente Fernandez

This Vicente Fernandez original song shares how a mother’s love is the purest of all and unconditional overall.

“Señora, Señora” by Denise De Kalafe

“Señora, Señora” is a classic to me. I dedicate this song to my mother every year. The lyrics of the song are so touching and detail exactly what a mother goes through to raise their children.

Spanish Version of “A Song For Mama” by Boys II Men

Boyz II Men released “A Song For Mama” in 1997 as an ode to mothers everywhere and to everything they do for their children. With meaningful lyrics, the R&B group delivered the song in both English and Spanish.
