2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards Moments We Love By: Lupe Llerenas

Hosted live from the Watsco Center in Miami by Pedro Fernández, Maite Perroni, William Levy, and Gaby Espino, this year’s event was filled with tons of surprises.

From Paquita La Del Barrio receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award to Maná getting the Icon Award and Daddy Yankee the Hall of Fame award, the night was filled with many celebrations for the Latinx artists highlighted. . Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, and Karol G were amongst the celebs who won big that night.

Camila Cabello performing her smash-hit “Don’t Go Yet”

The Cuban princess shut down her performance at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Bringing all the Latin sazon “Latin flavor,” Camila turned the heat up!

Bad Bunny is a complete gentleman, helping Paquita La Del Barrio

Paquita La Del Barrio and Bad Bunny went viral online when they met each other on the red carpet. But as if that wasn’t enough, during Paquita’s moment to receive her Lifetime Achievement award, Bad Bunny walked her up and even held the mic for her to speak into because it was too tall for her. Definitely an adorable moment!

Celebrating Karol G’s greatest hits 

Karol G was the biggest winner of the night among the women. She won two awards: Hot Latin Songs Female Artist of the Year and Top Latin Albums Female Artist of the Year. During her performance of the night, La Bichota gave us all her hits from her KG0516 album, including “El Makinon,” “Bichota,” and “Tusa.”

Christian Nodal gets to meet Banda MS

He made Mexico proud of this special performance. Christian Nodal shared the stage with Mexican group Banda Sinaloense de Sergio Lizárraga for their song “La Sinvergüenza.”

The jaw-dropping fashion of the night

Fans got to see some of the hottest Latinx artists hit the red carpet during the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. So many of our favorites delighted us with showstopping fits and here are just a few that had us wanting more! Camila Cabello stunned us in a short-ruffle Elie Saab dress. While Rosalía wore a long, shiny, yellow Valentino gown and Prince Royce shined bright, with a purple Berluti suit.
