When you look in your purse I imagine you have a lot of makeup products and other things in there. I know I do because my purse is a blank abyss. The one thing though that I always have on hand is my go-to makeup. In this day and age, you never know when you might end up going out and you have no makeup on, or just needing to touch up throughout the day. My go-to makeup is tried and true and doesn’t break the bank.

First, I always keep a tinted moisturizer on hand because it provides the right amount of color that I’m looking for and a bonus, it also has sunscreen in it. Right now, I highly suggest Covergirl Smoother Lightweight BB Cream. The coverage is just right and I’m covered from the sun. If I don’t want to use a tinted moisturizer I sometimes like to use powder. I have oily skin so powder absorbs those oils for me and gets rid of that shine. I keep Wet and Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder on hand. It’s small, compact and can go anywhere. You can get this one for no more than $4 depending on where you purchase it from.

To give my eyes a little pop I use Elf’s Waterproof Gel Eyeliner. It goes on smoothly and easily. You can also use the mirror from my powder compact if you’re not anywhere near a mirror. I will say, this liner is not meant for a wing-like eye design which is what I do most of the time but if I need something and just smudge it out. This liner is great especially for $4. The last thing I do for my eyes is, I keep a small mascara on hand. This year at Sephora, you can choose a MILK sample pack for your birthday. Now last but not least, my go-to is always lipstick. I always keep on hand Maybelline’s Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick. I love the colors, the coverage and the price for how well it stays. Someone will compliment you on your lipstick every time you wear this brand. You can get it at Target for $7.99
