Epifania’s Team 2021 Wish List
We know we just finished a difficult year and everyone on the Epifania team has some wishes for 2021. We all have something we are looking forward to in the New Year. From human contact to job creation to everyone having access to a vaccine.
In 2020 unemployment rose to 13%, and numerous people lost their jobs or decrease in income.
“2021, I wish us all good health and may those who lost their jobs due to the pandemic are able to get new ones.” – Lupe Llerenas, Music Writer.
The lack of in-person contact has effective everyone’s mental health well-being. People have become full-time caregivers, people have lost their jobs, students had to graduate at home, etc.
“My wish for 2021 is to have an effective vaccine available for everyone so we can gather and heal from not being able to spend time with each other in 2020.” – Rose Heredia, Copy Editor.
As we sat in front of our laptops and phones for more and more hours, we are constantly reminded that we are connected. One incident in another part of the world has the power to affect us.
“My wish for the world, that we remember we are all so deeply connected, every living thing and being, and for universal understanding that this is not hippy-dippy, or new agey, these are simple laws of the universe.” – Connie Pertuz-Meza, Culture Writer.
Let’s face it, we were all happy when Hamilton came to Disney+, but we need to go see some plays in real life.
“For 2021, I look forward to being able to go to live performances again. I need a good NYC/ Broadway fix!” – Stephanie Dionne, Communication Manager.
Whatever your 2021 goals are, know that we here at Epifania, know you are capable of doing all these tasks.
