My favorite time of the year is here, summer!

I love everything about summer. Warm weather, bright colors, and lots of catching up with friends. In the summer, we get to spend a lot more time with friends and family. And whether you’re in the car or on the beach, having a good playlist is highly essential. In my opinion, there’s a certain vibe that summer songs have.

So, if you’re looking to update your summer playlist, here are 10 fresh songs to keep the party vibes all around.

Kali Uchis – “Telepatía”

One of the hottest songs all over TikTok is Kali Uchis’ “Telepatía.” In the video, the singer-songwriter highlights Colombia in her new video for “Telepatía.” The Spanglish song appears on Uchis’ first Spanish-language album, 2020’s Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios).

Aventura and Bad Bunny – “Volvi”

Bachata supergroup Aventura and Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny have joined forces for “Volví.” This is without a doubt, a collaboration we didn’t know we needed and yet, we’re so here for it! Aventura gives us their original Bachata vibes we love, while el conejo malo adds his own take to it.

Becky G & El Alfa – “Fulanito”

Becky G teamed up with Dominican rapper El Alfa for “Fulanito.” The infectious rhythm of urban merengue always gets me ready to dance and sing along with the song. It’s been a go-to of mine!

Rauw Alejandro – “Todo De Ti”

Rauw Alejandro has the biggest Latin song in the world right now. The Puerto Rican singer-rapper just dropped his sophomore album “Vice Versa,” and in there comes his biggest hit yet, “Todo De Ti.”

Grupo Firme – “Gracias”

Founded in Tijuana, Grupo Firme has risen to become one of the leading regional Mexican bands within the last few years. The group just sold out multiple shows in one of Los Angeles’s biggest venues, Staples Center. Two of the current hits “Gracias” and “En Tu Perra Vida” have made this summer 2021 playlist because they are that good!

Karol G – “200 Copas”

If there’s one song that can bring girls together, it’s Karol G’s “200 Copas.” In the music video, the Columbian singer can be seen on the beach with friends reminiscing about past relationships and those who broke their hearts.

Justin Quiles, Chimbala & Zion & Lennox – “Loco”

Justin Quiles brings all the summer vibes with his song “Loco.” Teaming up with Chimbala and Zion & Lennox, this is a refreshing, tropical song that has easily become a summer anthem for me.

Enrique Iglesias & Farruko – “Me Pase”

This song is full of good energy that manages to capture the magic that made Enrique a famous icon for more than two decades. Built on the basis of an electric melody, it has an irresistible rhythm that will undoubtedly make it the anthem of this summer.

Anitta – “Girl From Rio”

Anitta put her own spin on the Brazilian bossa nova classic, “The Girl From Ipanema,” with her song “Girl From Rio.” Sultry and very catchy, this is another great song to get you up and going with a positive message.

Grupo Firme & Lenin Ramírez – “En Tu Perra Vida”

Ending this playlist with once again Grupo Firme because as I mentioned, this group does not disappoint. If you’re with your friends at a BBQ or going out, be sure to play this song with all the volume up.
